Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how Wood n More (Woodnmore B.V., Oerseweg 5, 7071 PP Ulft, the Netherlands) collects and uses personal data when you visit woodnmore.nl, apply for a business account, or trade with us. We sell to businesses, so most of the data we handle is business contact and order information, but where that data identifies a person, the GDPR applies and this policy tells you what we do. It should be read together with our Cookie Policy.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Woodnmore B.V. is the controller for the personal data described here. If you have any question about your data or want to exercise a right, email service@woodnmore.eu and a real person on our team will come back to you.
2. The data we collect
Account & contact data. Your name, business email and phone, company name, role, and your Chamber of Commerce (CoC / KvK) and VAT numbers when you register a business account.
Order & delivery data. Delivery and invoicing addresses, the items you order, order history, and payment status (we do not store full card details — payments run through our payment provider).
Correspondence. The emails and messages you send us, and our replies, so we can help you and keep a record of what was agreed.
Website & analytics data. With your consent, information about how you use the site (pages viewed, device and approximate location), collected through the tools described in our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
To run the trading relationship. Reviewing your application, setting up your account, processing quotations, orders, delivery, invoicing and after-sales — on the basis of our contract with you (or steps to enter one).
To protect the business and our dealers. Checking company details, preventing misuse, and managing regional dealer arrangements — on the basis of our legitimate interests.
To meet legal obligations. Tax, accounting and other statutory duties require us to keep certain records.
Analytics and marketing. Only where you have given consent through the cookie banner, as set out in the Cookie Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies keep the site working; analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent. Full detail, including the third-party tools we use (Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Meta), is in our Cookie Policy.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where needed to run the relationship, and never sell it. Recipients may include our logistics and shipping partners (to deliver your order), our payment provider (to process payment), our IT and hosting providers (including our webshop and email platform), and our accountant and advisors. All process data on our instructions or under their own responsibility where the law requires.
6. International transfers
We keep data within the European Economic Area (EEA) where we can. Some suppliers, for example analytics or IT providers, may process data outside the EEA; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations. Account and order records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for the statutory retention periods that apply afterwards (for tax and accounting, generally seven years in the Netherlands). Data we hold on consent is kept until you withdraw that consent.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or provide it in a portable form; and where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email service@woodnmore.eu and we'll help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
9. How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe, access controls, secure hosting and careful handling by a small team. No system is perfect, but we treat your data with the same care we'd want for our own.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a tool or the law changes. The current version is always the one published on our website, and the date below shows when it was last updated.
11. Contact
